Andrew is a Pickleball Canada Level 2 certified instructor with a systems-based approach to teaching the game. He works primarily with adult recreational and intermediate players, helping them build consistency, improve court positioning, and develop smarter decision-making under pressure.Andrew emphasizes learning through game-like situations rather than isolated drills, guiding players to understand when to slow the game down, when to apply pressure, and how to transition effectively from defense to offense. He integrates mental skills such as emotional regulation and resilience, and prioritizes safe movement by generating power through the legs and torso to reduce stress on the shoulder and elbow. His coaching style is practical, supportive, and focused on long-term development.
Terry Meyer
Terry Meyer is a Pickleball Canada Level 1 certified instructor who brings energy, clarity, and a people-first approach to coaching. She has experience training youth and adults, and creates learning environments that are both fun and appropriately challenging.Terry applies the Pickleball Canada program while keeping lessons grounded in real game situations, allowing skills to transfer directly to match play. She uses techniques that adjust task difficulty to build confidence and keep players progressing at their own pace. Terry also trains students at Okanagan College, delivering structured, engaging, and inclusive sessions.

All private lessons are to take place during public play and not during club booked time, this includes reserve a court sessions.

Mark was one of the founding members of the Penticton Pickleball Club and served as President for many years. His prior background as a teacher and coach, and his IPTPA training, provides him with the insight to analyze your game, and then to develop a plan to take your game to the next level. If you are a competitive player then one of the following options may meet your needs:
• Option 1 – Single Group lesson (2 hours): In this session Mark will observe your play and identify two to four skills for you to work on.
• Option 2 – A series of four or more group sessions (2 hours per session) for the motivated player who wants to take their game to the next level. Some of the skills covered are listed below:
Group one: intermediate skill group: (example 3.25 – 3.5 levels).
▪ Review of basic footwork, ready position, balance, split step.
▪ Paddle control for ball placement.
▪ Fundamental dinking skills/strategies.
▪ Third shot drop/drive.
▪ Basic game strategies.
Group two: advanced skill group (3.5 and up)
▪ Advanced dinking techniques and strategies.
▪Firefights and Resets at net.
▪ Blocking.
▪ Third shot drop/drive, 4th shot roll volley, 5th/ 7th shot resets from transition zone.
▪ Game and tournament strategies will be added at appropriate times.
