Signing up to Play at SPA Using Court Reserve

We are excited to announce that the Summerland Pickleball Association is now using CourtReserve to manage court bookings, events and member communication as of Jan 19th. This new system will make it easier for you to stay organized, register for sessions, and enjoy time on the court.

YOU MUST FIRST BE REGISTERED FOR SUMMERLAND PICKLEBALL ASSOCIATION THROUGH PICKLEBALL CANADA

  • Click on the Court Reserve Member Portal link below which will take you to the Court Reserve sign in portal
  • Create an Account button is located at the top of the page
  • Enter your email. If you do not already have an account from another club you will be prompted to create one
  • Fill out all required information. Your membership number is your Pickleball Canada Membership number. READ ALL of the play instructions. Once all information is entered, create account
  • If you already use Court Reserve with another club simply log in and search for Summerland Pickleball Association and create your account. 
  • Please allow 24-48hrs for Court Reserve approval by admin for the ability to sign up for play


Once you have created your account you can access Court Reserve on your computer by searching Court Reserve in the search bar and logging in. Alternatively, an app is available for IOS and Android through your device App store

Stay connected to SPA anytime, anywhere with the Court Reserve Mobile App. 

  1. Download the app directly to your smartphone through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android)
  2. Search for "Court Reserve"
  3. Click "get"
  4. Open Court Reserve 
  5. Click "Organization" and search for Summerland Pickleball 
  6. Create account if not already done on the member portal and agree to all terms, or login

Get the Mobile App

Go to your search engine on your laptop, desktop or device (ie:Google) and type in Court Reserve

  1. Click Court Reserve Login or Create Account if you do not have one already by reading all information and filling out the membership form
  2. Login if you have an account
  3. If you have an account with another club, navigate to my organizations and add Summerland Pickleball
  4. Fill out membership form and agree to all terms

  1. Navigate to Court Reserve from your search engine
  2. Log in to your account
  3. From the member portal click "Play at SPA"
  4. Sessions can be filtered by level, time of day, etc
  5. Find session to play in (sign up available 8 days in advance)
  6. Click "register" then "finalize registration"
  7. You will get a confirmation email upon booking
  8. Your bookings will show under "my sessions" under the sessions tab in the top row of the member portal
  9. If you are waitlisted it will also show here
  10. Alternatively you can choose "Calendar" from the top row under sessions and choose sessions this way.

  1. Navigate to Court Reserve App
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Click "Sessions"
  4. Sessions can be booked under category or by using the calendar
  5. Find session to play in (sign up available 8 days in advance)
  6. Click "register" then "finalize registration"
  7. You will get a confirmation email upon booking
  8. Your bookings will show under "my sessions" 
  9. If you are waitlisted it will also show under "my waitlisted sessions"

Cancelling a Session or Reservation Booking

  1. Navigate to the "Reserve a Court" button either from the header on the member portal or on the app
  2. Choose your venue, either Badminton Hall or Harold Simpson
  3. click "reserve"
  4. fill out required fields. Names of player must be added. Min of 2 to hold booking. Guest names must be added with a phone number. 
  5. click "save" 
  6. you will receive a confirmation email

Cancelling a Session or Reservation Booking

Cancellations can only be done more than 8 hours prior to the start of a session. Court reserve will not allow cancellations within 8hrs and members who do not cancel and do not show up will receive a "no show" penalty. (see sick cancellation under booking rules) 

  1. If you are unable to play in your session navigate to "my sessions"
  2. click "edit registration"
  3. click "withdraw"
  4. confirm "withdraw"
  5. you will receive an email confirming your withdrawal
  6. follow the same process to cancel a court reservation

Court Reserve Booking Rules and Restrictions

  • Session/Reserve a Court sign ups open 8 days in advance to the start of the session
  • Limit of 4 sign ups per week and 1 per day per member from Sunday to Saturday including waitlists regardless if it is a court reservation or session
  • If you are added to someones reservation this is included in your 4 a week
  • A member may sign up over the limit of 4 Sessions within 24hrs of a session/reservation providing space is available
  • WAITLIST is available. If a space opens up, you will receive an email letting you know if you have been added to the session to play. 
  • Please choose ONE recreation level that fits your skill ability and sign up for only that level for the most balanced play

Cancellation Policy due to illness

If you wake up sick and unable to play in your session please email summerlandpickleball@gmail.com as soon as possible to make admin aware. 

Please text/call/or email the waitlist person to take your place. Most members contact info is in the player directory. 

NO SHOWS

Failure to cancel ahead of time or sending a notification of illness to the gmail account

will result in a "no show". 2 "no shows" result in a suspension of sign up ability for one week
