What is DUPR?

The Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) is recognized as the most accurate and globally standardized rating system designed to accurately assess and track the skill levels of pickleball players, regardless of age, gender, or location.

Purpose: DUPR aims to be the most accurate and comprehensive rating system in pickleball, helping players understand their skill level and promote fair and balanced game play amongst players
How it works: DUPR uses a dynamic rating system that adjusts ratings based on match results, ensuring ratings reflect current skill levels. It considers various playing formats, including recreational and tournament play, and rates players on a unified scale. The system analyzes match results to accurately evaluate all players across a 2.000 - 8.000 scale.

How to Log an Individual Match in DUPR

For Individual Matches

Download the DUPR App: Find and download the DUPR app for your iOS or Android device from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Log In/Create Profile: Open the app and either log in to your existing account or create a new one to get your player profile.
Start a New Match: In the app, tap on the "Add a match" button, usually found on the bottom menu.
Enter Match Details:
- Add your opponent(s)'s name(s).
- Select the match format (singles or doubles).
- Input the scores from the match.
- Add the location and date of the game.

Submit Your Match: Hit the "submit" button to log the results. DUPR will automatically calculate and update your skill rating based on this information.

How to fill out score sheets:

Score sheets are located in the DUPR binder at Badminton Hall under corresponding level tab

Please use ink not pencil
Ensure DUPR session level is noted as "Event" and current date is added
Can be done by any player, before or after the match
Add first and last name and the score of each 2 person team
Scores will be prorated to 11 if no team reaches 11 before the round robin match time is done
When round robin session is done place sheet under corresponding skills level tab in the blue DUPR binder for committee member to collect and record
